Wisteria: A Journal of Haiku, Senryu, & Tanka

After 2 years of planning, I announce a new journal. Wisteria will be a self-published small size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) print journal dedicated to publishing haiku, senryu, and tanka poetry.

Please see the guidelines at http:wistaria.blogspot.com

The first issue will be released in April 2006. Help spread the word to all your fellow haijin! We are currently accepting submissions for 2006.

Thanks for your support.

T.A. Thompson

this is amazing! if you need any help with anything, i would LOVE to be a part of staff with at least something to do. it's so awesome that a haiku journal is going to be published forty five minutes from my home town. be expecting submissions for every journal. you have blessed my heart by creating this journal. do you have your own print/journal making stuff?

i have posted wisteria information on the yahoo haiku and tanka groups. i'll submit it to shadow poetry's haiku forum as well. robert may submit it to the haiku hut forums, though i seldom visit there. this is actually going to be my first journal i subscribe to and sumbit via mail. :-) i'm serious about helping. also, maybe i can come up to lufkin sometime and meet you. that would be great. do you know of any haiku poets around this area?

Thanks for the support. Yes, I plan to self-publish in my home. I have purchased the equipment to start with and look forward to it.

Did anyone from Rusk County Poetry Society ever reach you about joining?
I don't know of an inclusive group of haiku poets in eastern Texas, but there is a Fort Worth Poetry Society.
Best,
